1 · A letter to Principal Rhymer
From the Director of CFEG
Dear Principal Rhymer,
Thank you for the conversation about giving CJM students more course options from a local accredited institution that you have hands on access to, and without asking your staff to build and run a second school. This package is our answer, written plainly so you can share it with your team, your board, or your counsel and get started with CFEG courses within 10 days with little transition costs.
The arrangement is simple. CFEG is the accredited school body, so students taking online coursework are formally enrolled with us and their work sits inside systems we already operate and support. CJM stays close to the student: your staff remain the teacher of record for the online coursework, supervise locally, and hold the relationship with the family. You do not need to stand up an integration, buy a platform, or add a system for your office to learn. Your students log in to CFEG's systems, and you receive analytics and assessment pictures of how each one is doing.
We priced the first semester to be easy to say yes to. CFEG's standard Partner Course Access lists begins at $200 per student per month, and we are offering CJM a Getting Started reduced pilot rate of $50 per student per month — 75% off — for your first semester. That is $250 per student for the term instead of $1,000. Every add-on carries the same pilot discount, and if CJM continues into a second semester we hold 25% off our standard rate for four additional semesters of your partnership.
Beyond the core courses, we have opened up to CJM add-ons that expand the learning options that CJM can use and provide for local high school diploma and graduation options, live CFEG instruction, our labs, career-readiness platforms, and vocational tracks as add-ons — or as a single all-inclusive school plan — so CJM can reach for as much or as little of the program as fits your needs this year.
We would rather start with one honest semester than a long contract — run a pilot, see the reports, and decide at the end whether it earned a renewal. There is no pressure here and no deadline attached. When you are ready, send us your student roster and the courses you want, and we will build the rest around it and get your students to CFEG orientation and learning platforms in as little as 10 days.
With appreciation,
2 · What we are proposing
The partnership in one page
CFEG Partner Course Access gives CJM students flexible, accredited online courses with a named CFEG contact behind them. CFEG coordinates enrollment, account setup, orientation, course access, progress monitoring, and reporting through one guided launch. CJM keeps instruction and local supervision.
| Element | What it means for CJM |
|---|---|
| School of record | CFEG. Students taking online coursework are formally enrolled with CFEG, an internationally accredited Middle and High School institution with local Department of Education licensing in the Virgin Islands and who Common Core standards and Diplomas are accepted across the United States and Internationally. 100% of CFEG students have all graduated and pursed post secondary educations or entered the career force after program completion. |
| Teacher of record | CJM, remains the teacher of records for students in the online-only track. CFEG also offers its own team of teachers and live teacher-guided courses are available as a priced add-on if CJM wants to transition or transfer the student of record role to CFEG for selected students and courses. |
| Systems | CFEG-operated digital and local systems for CJM to use. Students work in CFEG's learning management system and their records live in CFEG's student information system. Nothing for CJM to integrate, license, or host and reducing CJM workload — the curriculum is already ready for you to use. |
| Course allowance | Up to two concurrent semester courses per student. Changes handled through a defined add/drop window upon request, and digitally for speedy process at anytime because CFEG has rolling admission and course availability all year round. |
| Access | Coursework available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, on a rolling basis every school year. Assist students and CJM with proceeding at their own pace. |
| Term | One five-month semester pilot, with locked pricing that provides fluid and uninterrupted learning access. |
| Minimum | 10 students, or $2,500 per semester at the pilot rate. |
| Rate | Getting Started pilot rate for CJM's first semester — 75% off. Four consecutive semesters after 25% off of CFEG standard partner renewal rate. |
| Billing | Invoiced monthly option across the semester, or paid in full before you begin. |
Why schools choose this shape
- One local accredited home for the coursework. Enrollment, records, and platform access sit in one place instead of being stitched together.
- Nothing new for your school to run. No integration project, no vendor contracts of your own, no admin tool to learn beyond a weekly report and a dashboard view that CFEG provides.
- Your teachers stay the teachers. CJM keeps instruction, local pacing decisions, and family communication.
- Room to grow. Local graduation, International class room experiences for students, Labs, career-readiness platforms, access to advanced and new technology resources and tools every semester, and vocational tracks are there when CJM wants them, priced separately so you grow as needed.
- A real pilot. One semester, ten students, lowest cost across all comparable school types.

How the three rates work
| Rate | When it applies | Course access | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Getting Started pilot75% off | CJM's first semester | $250 / student | The whole program at a quarter of list price, so the first term costs less than the decision to try it. With additional discounted pricing applied to our other plan options including every add-on and the all-inclusive plan. |
| Partner renewal25% off | For four semesters after your pilot first semester | $750 / student | Offered to CJM exclusively. This is the rate CJM should plan a budget around. |
| Regular | List price | $1,000 / student | Published for comparison. CJM does not pay this rate in the first semester, or right away in consecutive semesters. |
Minimum: 10 students per semester, or $2,500 at the pilot rate. Above 10 students, we quote against the actual course mix and support load which may have an additional $5 dollar cost more per month.
Optional add-ons
None of these are required. They exist so the base price can stay low and honest rather than quietly absorbing labor. Every add-on carries the same discount structure as the base package. Section 12 lets you select what you want and calculate a total so you choose what works for your budget.
| Add-on | Pilot | Renewal | Regular | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CFEG full live teacher-guided course, with course recovery & extensionper student, per quarter — a quarter is six weeks | $300 | $900 | $1,200 | A CFEG teacher leads the courses live — scheduled instruction, study halls, grading, and family contact — and the same fee covers recovering or extending up to two courses within that quarter. CFEG becomes teacher of record for those courses. Extensions to improve failing grades are offered upon academic approval. |
| Labs, career readiness, AI & Tech Labs, and vocational tracksper semester, all students rostered are eligible to participate | $500 | $1,500 | $2,000 | Lab access and materials supporting Biology, Integrated Chemistry & Physics, Physical Science, and Environmental Science, plus five additional learning and career-readiness platforms, the AI & Tech Labs, and every vocational track listed below. One fee for the school, not per student. |
| CJM school portal setupone-time | $300 | $900 | $1,200 | CJM's own portal within the CFEG environment: your branding, your landing page, your staff view, your students grouped together. Charged once, not every term. |
| Official transcript serviceper student | $50 | $150 | $200 | Access to transcripts at any time during the school year. Credit carried on a CFEG transcript. CFEG graduate parchment diplomas and services to post secondary institutions. Once CFEG issues the credential. |
| Hourly tutoring from $50–$100 hr | Quoted by subject | Targeted one-to-one support beyond standard CFEG outreach. | ||
| Onsite and online training at CJM | Day rate + travel | Virtual orientation is always included at no charge. | ||

8 · Where everyone logs in
Systems map — all CFEG-operated
CJM has nothing to install, license, or integrate. Students and staff receive one welcome page with every link on it. The three access points come with the base package; the rest open up with the all-inclusive CFEG Full School Experience plan.
Included in the base package

|---|---|---|
| Welcome page (All-Inclusive or Add On) | Everyone | CJM dedicated page & portal. The single front door: orientation, policies, term dates, every approved link, and support contacts. |
| Single sign-on | Students | One CFEG login that opens everything a student has access to. No separate password per system. |
| Learning management system (LMS) | Students | Where the coursework lives: lessons, assessments, pace, mastery, and course progress for every course in section 9. |
| Student information system (SIS) | Students, parents, CJM staff | The record: enrollment, grades, attendance, and progress reports. Parents get their own portal view; your coordinator gets a role-limited view of CJM students only. Transcript access. |
With the all-inclusive CFEG Full School Experience plan
| Access point | Who uses it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Individual Class hub | Students, staff | Lesson plans, assignments, weekly pages, and posted office hours and access to teachers for each course. |
| Live session platform | Everyone | Live classes, study halls, orientation, and international student teams and classmates. Every session recorded to go back to. |
| Skills & literacy platforms | Students | Targeted practice and reading support running alongside core coursework. Additional learning platforms and systems. |
| Career readiness & track platforms | Students | The five career-readiness platforms, the AI & Tech Labs, and the tools behind each vocational track. |
| CJM school portal | CJM staff, students | Your own branded landing page and staff view inside the CFEG environment, with CJM students grouped together. |
Every plan includes the support desk — one address for passwords, access, platform problems, and academic triage: HRCFEG@usvicfeg.com, one-business-day initial response — and the weekly or monthly report to your coordinator. CFEG names the specific products behind the LMS and SIS in the Program Order and the sub-processor list attached to the privacy addendum.

- Breaks are not closures for coursework. Because courses are available around the clock, students are encouraged to keep working through local holidays and breaks.

Submit this package
Send your selections to CFEG and keep a PDF copy
Submitting saves your package with CFEG and downloads a PDF order summary for your records. It does not enroll students or create a payment obligation.
The button opens paypal.biz/cfegusvi in a new tab. PayPal's page asks you to type the amount, so we copy it to your clipboard first — paste it into the amount field. Paying here is optional; CJM can also go to the next step for partner journey setup which includes invoicing and payment options and provides for your Program Order. A minimum of ten students, or $2,500 at the pilot rate, applies to any semester.
13 · Questions your staff and families will ask
Answers you can forward as written
› Which school is the student enrolled in?
For the online coursework, the student is formally enrolled with CFEG, the accredited school body. CJM remains the student's school community and, for the online-only track, the teacher of record.
› Do we have to buy or connect any software?
No. Every system is operated by CFEG. There is no integration project, no license for CJM to buy, and no new admin tool your office must adopt. If CJM wants its own branded portal inside the CFEG environment, that is a $300 one-time add-on.
› How many courses can a student take at once?
Two active semester courses at a time on the base package. The all-inclusive plan gives students additional course options and does not require the two-course cap.
› Who grades the work?
The learning management system grades most coursework automatically and posts it to the student information system. Teacher-of-record judgment stays with CJM unless you purchase a CFEG full live teacher-guided course, where CFEG teaches and grades.
› What does a live teacher-guided course look like?
A CFEG teacher leads live sessions, holds study halls, grades the work, and contacts families. The same fee — $300 per student per quarter at the pilot rate — also covers recovering or extending up to two courses in that quarter to improve and raise failing grades or GPA's for students.
› What happens if a student stops logging in?
After seven calendar days of no activity, CFEG raises an inactivity alert, copies your coordinator, and begins standard outreach to CJM; this is also documented in the student record in the CFEG SIS system. Local follow-up with the student and family stays with CJM.
› What if a student fails or falls behind?
Course recovery and extension is bundled into the live teacher-guided add-on: $300 per student at the pilot rate covers up to two courses across a six-week quarter, with academic approval. Extension requests must reach the teacher by email at least five days before the marking period ends so we can assist the student.
› What device does a student need?
A computer with a current browser, a working camera and microphone or headset, reliable internet, and a quiet place to work. A full requirements sheet ships with the launch kit, and orientation includes a device check.
› Can students work during breaks?
Yes — coursework is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Students are encouraged to keep working through local holidays and breaks if they need to get on pace and reach required credit hours and milestones.
› Who can see my child's data?
Only CFEG staff supporting the service and authorized CJM staff with a legitimate educational interest. Parents have their own portal view. Data is used solely to deliver this service — never sold, never used for advertising. See Appendix B.
› What is the difference between the base and all-inclusive plans?
At the pilot rate, the base plan at $250 is limited course access with CFEG coordination and reporting — CJM teaches. The all-inclusive plan at $1,000 gives students full course access with live CFEG instruction all year, course recovery, labs, every career-readiness platform and vocational track, your own portal, and transcripts. Section 8 shows which systems each plan opens.
› Can we stop after one semester?
Yes. The pilot is a single five-month semester and does not roll over automatically. Renewal happens only if CJM signs a new order — and if you do, the partner renewal rate holds 25% off list for as long as the partnership runs without a break.
14 · The next step
One small thing, whenever you are ready
Send us a roster and your course selections, proceed to the online setup, or fill in the interest form in section 15 if not ready to proceed with setup yet.
If your roster is not yet finalized — a first-draft roster is fine: student name, grade level, and the courses you have in mind from section 9. We will begin reviewing what is submitted, you will become familiar with our online set-up portal for starting your partnership, and you can decide from there. Nothing is committed until you sign or proceed online with the partnership journey. If CJM is ready now, you can start enrollment online by clicking Ready to Start.
Send any questions or correspondences to Sandra Cannon at sandra.cannon@usvicfeg.com, or to Hundaol Atew at Hundaol.Atew@usvicfeg.com for administrative coordination.

Appendix A · Full list of exclusions
What the base package does not cover, unless added on with payment of add-on rate
We would rather write this down than let it come up in month three. Each item below is either available as a priced add-on or stays with CJM.
- Instructional labor beyond the platform. CFEG full live teacher-guided courses, course recovery and extension past the marking period, manual grading outside the platform workflow, and one-to-one or hourly tutoring.
- Labs, career readiness platforms, and vocational tracks. Science lab access and materials, the five additional learning platforms, the AI & Tech Labs, and the Technology, Digital Media & Film, Trade Prep, and Sports & Music tracks.
- A dedicated CJM portal. Your own branded portal inside the CFEG environment, one-time setup fee.
- Official CFEG transcripts or diplomas. Available only when the Program Order expressly identifies CFEG as issuing the credential and the transcript add-on is purchased.
- Custom technical work. Any integration with a CJM system, single sign-on, API or data feed, white-label domain, or custom course development.
- Hardware and connectivity. Devices, internet service, local classroom supervision, testing space, transportation, and onsite staff.
- Third-party licenses not already authorized for the enrolled student population.
- Special education evaluations or services beyond platform accommodations expressly accepted in writing.
- Proctoring and identity-verification upgrades, printed materials, and rush transcript processing.
Service commitments and limits
CFEG commits to response targets, not outcome guarantees. Specifically, CFEG does not guarantee that any individual student will complete a course, that a given grade will be earned, or that a third-party platform will be free of interruption. Where a course credit is intended to transfer or count toward a CJM requirement, CJM makes that determination. Support hours, severity levels, and escalation paths are published in the technical requirements and support guide supplied at launch.
Appendix B · Data privacy and security summary
A plain-language summary of the Data Privacy Addendum
The full addendum is a signed legal document that accompanies the Program Order. This summary is for reading, not for signing. Questions on it go to CFEG counsel at Cannons@18seventy8.com.
| Commitment | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Purpose limitation | Student data is used only to deliver the contracted educational service — nothing else. |
| No sale, no advertising | CFEG does not sell student data, use it for targeted advertising, or build unrelated profiles. |
| Data minimization | The addendum lists the exact data elements collected. We do not ask for more than the service needs. |
| Access control | Role-based access, least privilege, and credential security. Only staff with a legitimate educational interest see records. |
| FERPA basis | The addendum states the lawful basis for each disclosure and gives CJM direct control over data shared with CFEG in a school-official capacity. |
| Students under 13 | Where any enrolled student is under 13 — relevant for 7th and 8th grade — the agreement identifies who provides consent under COPPA and supplies parent-facing notice. |
| Subprocessors | A maintained list of every vendor touching student data, named in full and kept current, with the same privacy and security obligations flowed down to each. |
| Incident response | Defined breach-notice process, cooperation with CJM, remediation, and clear responsibility for any required notices. |
| Parent and student rights | Access and correction requests are routed through CJM, with CFEG supporting the response. |
| Retention and deletion | A stated retention period, an export at closeout, a destruction timetable, and a deletion certification on request. |
